H+U served as the Construction Manager for the construction of the new SCALE Regional Public Safety Training Facility which serves not only Scott and Carver Counties and the Minnesota River Valley Region, but all of greater Minnesota. This premier training facility offers primary training opportunities for law enforcement, firefighting, and public works groups.

The project consisted of three specific site areas: Academy Building, Shooting Ranges, and the South Site which includes the Tactical Burn Tower, Pump House, and Retention Pond. The facility provides training opportunities for area firefighters, law enforcement officials, emergency management, and preparedness personnel; military, public health, and public works groups.
