H+U served as the Construction Manager for a new Air Cargo facility for the Thief River Falls Regional Airport. The project was designed and constructed to meet Minnesota’s B3 requirements for sustainability, making it one of the most sustainable facilities of its kind in the Midwest.

The project was constructed of precast concrete wall panels, included semi-translucent wall panels (Kalwall), and included a combination of storage, service, and office areas. The new hangar includes a combined 27,000 sqft of field maintenance and aircraft storage space in addition to 3,000 sqft of office and locker room space.
