H+U Construction has completed several large addition and renovation projects for the Redwood Falls Area Hospital since 2001. Our largest, and most complex project was completed in 4 phases over 3 years while the hospital remained fully operational through the project.
To coordinate construction and hospital operations, H+U facilitated daily meetings with on-site construction and hospital staff which played a critical role in the successful completion of the work. The complete renovation of the existing hospital included additions to the Radiology Center and patient rooms, therapy areas, and mechanical spaces. Site constraints prevented the hospital from building out, so we built up with the addition of 2nd floor patient rooms and a 3rd floor mechanical penthouse above the existing 1-story building.
