Mississippi Gateway Regional Park has been awarded a 2026 AIA Minneapolis Merit Award, a distinction that celebrates outstanding architectural design and meaningful community impact. Developed through a collaborative effort involving Alliiance, Three Rivers Park District, WSB, and a diverse team of project partners, the park reflects extensive community engagement and a shared vision for connecting people to the Mississippi River. The completed park offers expanded opportunities for recreation, environmental learning, and community gathering, creating an inclusive destination that enhances access to the outdoors while fostering stewardship of the region’s natural resources.
