H+U was proud to welcome educators and career counselors participating in the Minneapolis Regional Chamber’s Educator Externship Program.
As part of the experience, participants toured H+U’s Terminal 2 project at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), gaining a firsthand look at the planning, coordination, and collaboration required to deliver complex construction projects. The visit also provided valuable insight into the wide range of career opportunities available throughout the construction industry.
By connecting educators with real-world industry experiences, the Educator Externship Program helps bridge the gap between the classroom and the workforce. Through direct exposure to active job sites and industry professionals, participants gain a deeper understanding of construction careers they can share with students as they explore future education and career pathways.
H+U is grateful to the Minneapolis Regional Chamber for organizing this impactful program and to all of the educators and counselors who joined us. We are proud to support efforts that inspire the next generation of builders, tradespeople, and construction industry professionals.
