Wipaire Manufacturing has completed a major consolidation effort by renovating a newly acquired 60,000-square-foot facility in Inver Grove Heights, bringing operations from multiple buildings under one roof. The expanded space improves production efficiency and provides new amenities, including a breakroom overlooking the manufacturing floor. H+U Construction played a key role in transforming the exterior by removing sections of the precast façade and replacing them with glass, a process completed in small, carefully sequenced phases to maintain the structural integrity of the building. Additional metal panel cladding modernized the remaining exterior, giving the facility a completely updated appearance.
To keep manufacturing fully operational during construction, H+U built a temporary perimeter wall that protected the production area from dust and noise. The renovated building also features a large historical mural and will eventually house artifacts celebrating the company’s heritage. The finished facility not only consolidates Wipaire’s manufacturing process but also creates a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors, reinforcing the company’s long tradition of craftsmanship.
