Rosemount High School was one of 35 building and site improvement projects completed by H+U Construc-tion within District 196 over the past five (5) years, and one of more than 60 construction projects completed as Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan Public Schools’ Construction Manager-Advisor within the past 20 years.

The 13-month expansion to Burnsville High School addresses the growing academic needs of the community, and brings all 9th through 12th grade students under one roof, providing a 21st century
learning environment for real world learners. Collaboration, natural light, air purification, and sustainability initiatives are all built into the new spaces at Burnsville High School, allowing learners to reach their full potential.

H+U Construction has been serving the Saint Paul Public School District since 2012 and has completed a variety of addition, renovation, and deferred maintenance projects including: Humboldt Middle School, Como Park High School, Creative Arts Secondary School, and the award-winning Adams Spanish Immersion School as recognized by Finance & Commerce as one of the “Top Projects of 2018”. Our current and upcoming projects include the four (4) largest construction projects that the district has undertaken in the past 50 years, totaling $140 million.

In 2019 Lester Prairie Public Schools hired H+U Construction as their Construction Manager for a major construction project on the District’s K-12 building. After months of planning, pre-construction support, and
a successful referendum, construction on two additions and remodels began. The improvements included new administrative and learning spaces, front entryway, athletic facilities, commercial kitchen, commons, and workshop. The project was completed 14 months later and is a major accomplishment for the school and the community.

Apple Valley High School was one of the larger, and perhaps the most complex of the 35 projects H+U completed on behalf of the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School District over the past 5 years. The project combined the complexity of a phased project inside an occupied building, with an extremely aggressive summer schedule for completing significant portions of the 85,000/SF interior renovation. The new addition houses a commons area and office space. Renovated areas included much of the building
circulation space, classrooms, and a series of learning stairs in the center of the building.
