Recognized by Finance & Commerce Magazine as a “Top Project of 2020”, the main goal of the Humboldt High School project was to ensure that the school meets 21st century learning needs of students.

Rosemount High School was one of 35 building and site improvement projects completed by H+U Construc-tion within District 196 over the past five (5) years, and one of more than 60 construction projects completed as Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan Public Schools’ Construction Manager-Advisor within the past 20 years.

The 13-month expansion to Burnsville High School addresses the growing academic needs of the community, and brings all 9th through 12th grade students under one roof, providing a 21st century
learning environment for real world learners. Collaboration, natural light, air purification, and sustainability initiatives are all built into the new spaces at Burnsville High School, allowing learners to reach their full potential.

H+U Construction has been serving the Saint Paul Public School District since 2012 and has completed a variety of addition, renovation, and deferred maintenance projects including: Humboldt Middle School, Como Park High School, Creative Arts Secondary School, and the award-winning Adams Spanish Immersion School as recognized by Finance & Commerce as one of the “Top Projects of 2018”. Our current and upcoming projects include the four (4) largest construction projects that the district has undertaken in the past 50 years, totaling $140 million.

The award-winning 410,000/SF high school includes a competition gymnasium with an elevated walking track, as well as a 3-station Fieldhouse with athletic rubber flooring, adjacent locker rooms, fitness rooms, and weight rooms. This is 1 of 5 projects H+U has completed for the District since 2005. Additional features include a media center, technology education classrooms, administration rooms, and cafeteria.

H+U completed the beautiful new 54,000 square-foot Dakota Valley Learning Center, working with ISD 196 and Wold Architects from the preconstruction phase through completion to address neighborhood concerns, maximize project savings and ensure that the project opened on time.

The new 54,000 square-foot facility houses Early Childhood Educational Programs and Adult Basic Education Programs. In addition to classroom spaces, the facility also includes administrative, physical education and media center spaces.
